My own photographs are used in these fine art representations and are an attempt to make something "more" - something more painterly than photography and more colorful than "real life". Laughingly, I've called this RealPhotoism because it's the opposite of PhotoRealism - an attempt to make a photograph look like a painting instead of making a painting look like a photograph. I am grateful to Photoshop for the tools to accomplish my vision.
